Trumpington Seedy Sunday is on 26th January 2025!

This event is an opportunity to bring and swap self-saved seeds, exchange other surplus seeds and plants, or take in exchange for a small donation of whatever you can afford. Please do not worry if you don’t have any spare seeds as there are always plenty to go around.

You will also find refreshments and cakes, stalls including seed merchants, artisan producers and community groups, and other gardeners excitedly planning their new growing season.

Trumpington Seedy Sunday has run annually since 2006. This year we are back at our original venue: Trumpington Village Hall, High Street, Trumpington, Cambridge CB2 9HZ.

Entry is £2 for adults, children free.

Entry and some stalls can take contactless payments, but please bring cash for refreshments and the other stalls.

Getting there:

Cycle routes from Cambridge are Trumpington Road or the Busway:
* From central Cambridge, cycle 15 mins along Trumpington St to Trumpington High St.
* From Cambridge rail station, cycle 10 mins along The Busway, exit at the Foster Road stop
* From The Busway, exit at the Foster Road stop (look for bus shelters and footpath signed “Trumpington 1/2”) and cross the estate to the High Street.
* Bus: Park and Ride service PR3 to Anstey Way, Trumpington or take any bus to Addenbrooke’s and walk along The Busway behind hospital.
* Car: close to M11 junction 11, signposted “Trumpington Park and Ride”.
